I have an XBOX 360 and a PS3. You don't need to pay for XBOX Live if you don't want to. The PS3 won't be cheaper when you add up the energy bill.

Sales really don't count as the system's price. You don't need to pay to keep the system running, and you don't need to pay for XBOX Live. Some PS3 games look better then XBOX 360 games. The PS3 was and still is overpriced. The hardware in consoles is crippled and stripped down from what you get with off the shelf PC parts. That's why you can get consoles for less then a PC with "equal" specs.

okay i bought my ps3 at best buy for 199$ plus u aint gotta pay for shit to keep it running, and online, it ends up to be morre it did for me. and yes ps3 games have better graphics (thats fact) and online is easier for me. plus u pay for what u get in my opinion u should be paying 100000 for the ps3 with all the stuff it has

The storage medium that a game is on cannot make it look better or worse. XBOX 360 is $199 and PS3 is $399, how is that less? Microsoft has a superior online service. The PS3 isn't easier to use. Looks are irrelevant, and personal opinion. In general game systems are for gamers, but Nintendo some how managed to get people who don't play video games to buy their console. Why do you think it is still selling like it did at launch?
