The Leonard Bernstein/New York Phil rendition is probably the best performance of Rhapsody in Blue that I've ever heard. I even prefer it to the early recording of Gershwin with Ross Gorman on clarinet. Stanley Drucker, principle clarinetist is THE MAN!! I've never heard a better performance of the opening solo. You can always trust a sure thing lol.

I'm a huge Lenny fan but this a an absolutely horrid performance by Berstein on the piano.Talk about a hack job.Too much ego and not enough about the piece in this performance.
