gary is the champion in Fire Red wich i think is more funn and aslo the 2nd time u face gary his pokemons lvl is stronger in the lvl 70's plus he has a Tynarta(im not a poke nerd but i was one when i was 10 lol)

I know that is why I though it was funny, because he is a gym leader and doesn't look totally champion material. Suprising to hear about this after seeing Koga the former gym leader of Fushica City be an Elite Four member in Silver, Gold, and Crystal verstions of Pokemon.
