I know why you said that, but the reason people know how the spell Google is that's how it's sounds when it's spoken, thus why they actually named it Google and not Googol. Besides, Googol looks ridiculous written down.Cuil actually spells the sounds Sue-il, Not "cool". Which is why it's not intuitive. Besides, the engine is dog slow and not as good as Google in my opinion. While Google displays by rank, and not always relevancy, which Cuil says it does. Google's pages are far easier to skim.

OMG! He says "cuil" is not intuitive spelling. Well "google" is incorrect too. It should be "googol". It takes 4 letters to spell cuil but takes 6 letters to spell google. Why is google easier?google censors words like "democracy" in the China version.

Who is this guy to speak for me? I like the layout of cuil and don't like to be forced to scroll to the bottom to change pages that google makes you do. In fact, why didn't google allow people to change pages from the top or bottom? cuil's page bar is better. If cuil's layout were the same as googles then how does that give people an alternative?
