I don't see any discrimination. Everybody has the rights to get marry. All they have to do is find someone of the opposite sex.

but the majority of monotheistic religions believe that homosexuality is a sin and will not grant them marriages. Marriage is an invention of monotheism and therefore is a monotheistic custom much like a bar mitzfah is a Jewish custom. That custom belongs to religion and the church has the right over it. Gays can still get a legal binding from the state for insurance, benefits, etc. but they just cant get married

dog vs. human beingbadd comparison i hate it when people use it!its stupid and you know why.but just becuase in the dictionary its says the union between a man and a woman or the bible says its a sin, we should still not take their rights away, they do everything else we do, pay the same taxes, but they cant marry just becuase some people are so dead set on their religion or they think its not natrual? who are you to decide that?

marrige is a religious cerimony, and i do agree. but that is whats wrong, seperation between church and state. you say the state has no right to be involved in marrige?its our church that has no right, because we have freedom of religion, and its not only christianity in this world, look on reviews and you will find most christians take away gays rights just becuase it says homosexuality is a sin in the bible! im christain i will not put my beliefs upon others if they have their
