NOOO! I meant Cuba. It may be "dominated" by Puerto Ricans but It began in New York and was a fusion of CUBAN styles(son, danzon, changui, etc.). It does however, take from things like Puerto Rican Bomba and plena but it is primarily from Cuban styles. If you study the history you would know that many puerto ricans learned to master Cuban styles since the 1800's.
