There is a Getz album on Verve, simply called 'Stan Getz Plays', recorded in the fifties, with the great melodist Duke Jordan in the piano chair. Listen to Getz's 'Stella' on that album. You may appreciate the cover photo, too (Stan and his son).

Fabulous. As I commented in other of your videos, Bob, Getz was not only awesomely gifted, but also had this 'certain something' that makes him unique...In minute 2:12 he plays some notes of "Laura", that beautiful song he never recorded... I wonder why... Thanks for sharing, Bob.

The concert was broadcasted by Danmarks Radio (Radio Denmark), but to my knowledge it has never been available on DVD. It´s a pity.
