Damn genius you are right and in fact i did try before actually our body heat also can generate electricity. If you how to use it your body can light up a small LED light. I did this before. And of course i did it using the phone line too.

Actually, that particular phone (and all cordless) will not work when the electricity is off. Remember it is a receiver and will not receive the signal from the handset to even make a call with out AC power. What you need in case of a power outage is an old typw corded phone. The phone company for decades has used battery back up to make the older type phones bell ring. Still a great video showing something that is hidden right in front of us.
