Demonstration of the Moog Minimoog
This is a portion of a discussion concerning how great the Moog Minimoog is. Basically a very small demonstration of a fraction of the sounds and capabilities of the Moog Minimoog... perhaps the most beautiful, beautiful sounding, and functional synthesizer ever produced.Feel free to link to this video or post it on your page, but please give me credit by marking it "by Marc Doty." Thanks!

minimoog is very similar to Korg MS20! Or on the contrary!

It is the physical being. There is no little computer board inside of it... just transistors, resistors, etc. That is why it sounds different from software.A lot of people are working very hard to recreate the sound, and in some ways they are successful. But the overall sound and performance experience is very difficult to reproduce in software.

Question: Is it the physical being of the Moog that enables it to sound how it does?Or is it the little computer board inside it?In other words.. would be possible to have a software that could recreate the Moog sound down to its every detail?
