Venezuela opposition accuses Chavez over poll 12-Aug-08
Venezuela's opposition is accusing Hugo Chavez' government of trying to keep them out of a forthcoming poll. More than 250 politicians, most of them members of the opposition, are banned from running because they're under investigation.

um no when i was in venezuela i saw malls with capitalist stores! people shopping! i guess u dont know what 21st century socialism means do u? read up on it u may like it!! how bout those indians and black venezuelans who were hiding before chavez got to power!! now since chavez got to power they now feel equal!!! the majority of venezuelans who are against chavez are the white venezuelans! Chavez is the first indian president of venezuela! and they hate him cuz of that! am i lying about that?

sorry to break it to u but i just came from venezuela!! and i dont see any problem in venezuela!! i see macdonalds in every corner of caracas and girls with breast implants everywhere u go!! and u saying that venezuela is worse? dont u see the new contructions around the city being developed thanx to chavez? and all that bullshit about no milk and food!! Well constitucion sais a candidate must be sentenced to not be able to be nominated.In chavez´s law anyone with open investigation cant be nominated. This is not only against the constitution but against democracy as most of the opposition members with the chance of winning where "tagged". hard to talk about democracy when the oposition cant postule theyr lead candidates.
