its not a deep or spiritual issue anyway really. God doesn't get the glory out of choir competitions anyway!!! you got 8 or 9 choirs prayin to the same God tho beat each other lol. and the bad part is they all singin songs to the same God. where does he get the glory out of that. tye, doin what he did had no spiritual intent when he did what he did at the competition. he did it to win

What's in their heart will manifest in their actions. When Daivd danced before the Lord he was dancing from the heart. He was dancing out of the joy and the love that he had for the Lord. He had no chorographed moves, no usin an oversized pack of chewing gum for a guitar. His dance was to the Lord. There are someone things that we see others doing and we think yeah God likes that. The bible says that acting foolish is something that is not becoming of a christian.

That was GREAT!!! I bet people called David a fool when he danced out of his clothes. I refuse to reserve my fanatic praise for slam dunks, home runs and touch downs. God has done more for us than anyone, why shouldn't we get excited with our celebration of him?

I wasn't feelin' that at all. That's the way I think God should be presented. It's alright to dance and shout for the Lord, but acting silly and foolish isn't very glorifying.
