Yeah, that is something that capoeiristas are proficient at; linking combination moves and recovering quickly and viciously. In the roda, they are trained to never lose their flow; once you do, you are dead.

Capoeira is a beautiful yet devastating martial art & I've never doubted it's violent potential. Being an intermediate, I've seen some rather rough & combative Capoeira in my short 3 years, but this is just sick.

i didnt think capoeira would be effective. i liked how he transitioned into another kick when he fell instead of staying there

Yes, the guy got lucky, but if you watch closely you'll see after he got knocked over by a leg sweep (which is a common move in regional), he used a role followed by a (very low) meia lua de compasso and finished off with a single-leg variation of arrastão.Yes, he was lucky, but his opponent was confused by his rolling and didn't know what to expect. Thus, the unpredictability factor of capoeira came into play. Personally, I would've swept his leg again during meia lua or jumped on his back.
