I mean, it's just that. It's a movie. It's glorified and not reality. I made this for an English project, not to show a realistic view of how Geisha danced.You don't need to vent your frustrations to me. Chill out everyone!

Not just anyone can do this dance. It takes strength, hurt, courage, and reason, to do that kind of dance.

Erm, to make this clear, Golden worked in collaboration with Iwasaki, he didn't "steal her story" at all.And also, you have to think of both the film and the book as a comment on the West's perceptions of Geisha, and the loss of the art form, rather than a literal account.
