i'm a yank here in the states and oasis are the best band on the planet. have been, and continue to be. seen them four times and they kick ass everytime. especially when noel did helter skelter in portland or. pure class. and yes, other than wilco and old rem, american music is not up to snuff with the uk. they know how to write catchy music that also kicks it. i could list a lot of great uk bands that are all really good, but i don't need to. and it's all about being MAD FER IT!!!
