This song is quite ironic. I loved Joni Mitchell from the 70's and 80's. When I listen I can hear it's an older Joni, and she's still doing Both Sides Now and very beautifully I might add. So it's like she did this song from both sides both as a young gal and an older woman. When I think of it...it means I've gotten older too and I'm wondering where the years went. Man this song puts a lump in my throat.

I know Diana Krall was very inspired by Joni Mitchell. Her songs tend to have this sort of melancholy feel. She's jazz, though. Still, you should try her out :)
