I completely understand. The reason I respect the artistry of hip hop (and it is an artistic medium when done correctly) is that it transcends: race, and creed. Which is why I get all the more dismayed when ceartain individuals desecrate it. And while I may not utterly and completely condone Dooms actions I respect that he believes in what he does (especially from an afrocentric perspective). And by those means he attempts to push the boundries of the medium into a direction of artistic merit :)
