actually yakmey that never played out like the facts and predictions concerning 2012. the concern over 2000 ad was how computers and their time coordination would crash (ie not the end of the world)..u r confusing the magnitude and depth of the 2012 forecast with a past hysteria that would never compare close. the mayans and other proponents of prophecy like the i ching, bible, quran..have tapped into this coming event and we will all experience it 4 yrs from now. for better or worse

The theroy of two thousand tweleve being the end of life as we know it has a lot to it, don't to be so quick to judge it. I think for sure due to the many things that point to something big will go down on that date. And what the ancient Mayans have showed with thier calander (their calander that is more acurate than our Gregorian calander)is quite convincing, and I know that Mayans were an amazingly smart people, smarter than most of you no doubt. So my message to you is don't judge too quick!
