xuci111111: The last time China fought a major war was with Vietnam in 1979 or 29 years ago and that lasted just one month. Prolonged peace is the key reason for China's economic rise to become the world's No. 3 economy this year. (China would pass Japan in 2010 to be No. 2). Wish those bellegerant Western countries would learn a thing or two about peace, as they're all stuck in Iraq or Afghanistan with no end in sight. Why economic meltdown?

Remember on average China had the longest peaceful era not to mention the longest civilization to this date - every empire that conquered China adopted into Chinese culture and called themselves ChineseBut in our advancement of 5000 years, you don't see us bragging on about how we are superior and try to conquer the world, did you?The west had power and it has shown it has no ability to control themselves

Well isn't it great that the all righteous USA is keeping Saudi Arabia (where stoning people to death for wearing the wrong religious hat is common practise) well supplied with modern weapons. M1 Abrams tanks, Javelins, Stingers you name it, they got it. They would have never made it that war without you. Way to go USA!
