Same shit! Tried to cancel my account but they kept offering me crap "until" my account was cancelled. They reduced me to a raging idiot on the phone. "I WANT MY ACCOUNT CANCELLED, CLOSED, NOT LIABLE FOR CHARGES RIGHT NOW"! Do I feel for the employee "just doing thier job"? NO! I have walked off a job for unethical requests from an employer & still have a successful career to this day. They should all quit such an abscessed, ulcerated open wound of a company...RIGHT NOW!

i used to work for AOL, until they pulled our call center out of the state, and whats really funny is that vincent restarted his AOL acct after this phone call, and the consultant got WALKED out of the call center. he was fired on the spot.

Ya I haven't used AOL for years because of how bad they were. Tried canceling and they kept charging me. They would NOT cancel! It is like you have no choices! Glad this guy got this as proof! This is ridiculous and true! It happened to me as well!
