in the Hereafter, in a way metaphysical writers tell about that too, as there is one, Jozef Rulof, who wrote the book: "The cycle of the soul".Mourning about a soul who passed away can make that soul as depressed as you are because the soul feels everything of you, and your thoughts reach him or her. So its is important for the peace of the soul to send thougts of love, not filled with pity, how sad it may be for us, who are still on earth.I hope that this thought may support all.

Ahh, well, he's Japanese, so he's either Buddhist or Shinto anyway, in any case, he should be at peace, poor Yoshiki - but Hide just meant that much to him. They were like brothers.

From out of my own life I know that loosing someone can make you depressed. You have to cope with new realities, also the one, who passed away, and who is searching for stability in the Hereafter. For me it has been a long process to learn that life is eternal, and that the soul continues life, only in a more subtle world, subtle energies, and going on in learning there. Light is there, as there are guides from the spiritual worlds. The film: "What dreams may come" tells about life

Yoshiki was the drummer and pianist of a band called X Japan he made with his friend Toshi. In like, 95, Yoshiki made this to be played whenever X Japan went on stage for their gigs (the PV version). Well, in 95, the group split up, and in 98, their guitarist, Hide died (which is really sad). It's made Yoshiki depressed for the last 10 years, and he can't think about X Japan anymore, so he made this new band VUK - Violet UK, and he added extra lyrics to his original song "Amethyst".
